Dear Members, Friends and Supporters,
I wanted to extend my thanks to all connected with the club for their sheer hard work, commitment and enjoyment brought to the club during 2015.
It has been a privilege and pleasure to be a part of the progress the club continues to make in many areas and especially pleasing to see the Teams providing a very impressive and well deserved series of wins – outstanding.
Most of all though, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the helpers – at every level – whether regular or once-in-a-while, whether for just an hour in the kitchen or every singly week coaching in all weathers – you are a credit to the club and community and we are enormously thankful of your efforts.
We are building a Football club that we hope will prosper for many years ahead based upon a clear set of values and principles, increased player numbers, sound financial footing and superb club facilities for the wider community to use. We are very proud of this club and everybody connected with it.
If Christmas is a time to celebrate, it is also a time to share. We share each other’s company, each other’s achievements together with each other’s pains, hopes and dreams. For we must not forget that Christmas is also a time of hope. At this time, in the deepest darkness of winter, we celebrate the triumph of light over dark, of dreams over the setbacks of the past. We renew our sense of possibilities not yet realized.
Extending my own and the Committee’s very best wishes to you all, the warmest wishes for a peaceful as well as a happy Christmas and New Year.
We Live Forever
